Developer’s Notes
This gimmick is obviously inspired by the Million Dollar Man.
When this Gimmick is in play, it adds 3 Crowd Points to the Event Pool during event setup.
This gimmick is a more advanced one compared to the others since it alters the base mechanic of how a wrestler gains Crowd Points. It is not advisable to use this gimmick as your first or as you’re learning to play the game.
Wealthy is a gimmick that is simple to understand. During every Upkeep, you gain 3 Crowd Points from the general pool. You may also discard a card from your hand in order to use it as a Crowd Point.
This quickly becomes a highly-strategic gimmick to play. There are no activated abilities. Therefore, you will end up with a lot of Crowd Points. The strategy comes with how to spend them. You will rely heavily on the builtin abilities Heels and Faces have, as well as the abilities of your style.
Wealthy works well with Stable since paying the Upkeep would still yield you 1 net Crowd Point, and the Stable members can act as your tag team partner or run-in for you in your matches.
As a Heel, you might find yourself buying the top card of the Gear discard pile. In this case, taking your turn later in the event might be more beneficial. Hiring Dr. Lionel Lector might help reduce the cost of avoiding DQ risk.
As a Face, you might find yourself buying the top card of the Ring discard pile. If you do this, you would focus more on Drama and Angles to play against other players. Hiring General Sam Rage might help by stopping Weapons in your match.
