Developer’s Notes
This gimmick is inspired by those wrestlers who could be the bad guy one day and the fan favorite the next–from middle fingers to barroom brawls, the One Tough Son Of A Gun rules the roost!
When this Gimmick is in play, it adds 2 Crowd Points to the Event Pool during event setup.
This gimmick is a more advanced one compared to the others since it alters the base mechanic of a wrestler’s faction. It is not advisable to use this gimmick as your first or as you’re learning to play the game. When you are One Tough Son Of A Gun, you don’t use the Turn Tracker on your play mat. At the start of every event, you decide what your faction is, Face or Heel. You receive all Crowd Points to your personal pool, but you can only spend Heat if you’re a Heel and Pop if you’re a Face.
Let’s say you’re a Face and get Heat, you’ll keep the Heat. It won’t be placed on the Heel Turn Tracker, and let’s assume by the end of the event, you’ve spent all your Pop, but you had acquired 4 Heat along the way. At the start of the next event, you decide to be a Heel and instantly get access to the Heat you’ve built up.
You can never be forced to change your faction. Remember, any cards with a faction requirement will be discarded if you’re faction doesn’t match. For example, if you have Dr. Lionel Lector as your manager and you choose to become a Face, he would be discarded.
One Tough Son Of A Gun is also immune to the Repackaged angle. If drawn face up, it’s simply discarded. If another player uses it against you, it would also be discarded without effect.
The 2 Crowd Point ability allows One Tough Son Of A Gun to change the target of any Weapon or One-Shot used in your match.
