The Extremist gimmick is inspired by all those kendo-stick wielding, mist blowing, hardcore daredevils that have a blatant disregard for human flesh.

When this Gimmick is in play, it adds 2 Crowd Points to the Event Pool during event setup.

Most Weapons have a Heel requirement to play, but sometimes the good guys like to play dirty too – enter the Extremist.

The 1 Crowd Point ability allows you to search the Gear deck and take the first Weapon you find to your hand.

The 2 Crowd Point ability allows you to ignore requirements to play a Weapon card and eliminates DQ risk. This is for your match only! If you want to use a Weapon in another player’s match, you must follow the requirements to play the Weapon and there is DQ risk.

This can be a powerful combination; not to mention that using a Weapon also allows you to draw another Gear card.

Lastly, the Extremist can alter the result of the Injury roll, allowing them to decide “how hard” to hit their targets with a Weapon. If their goal is to win without injuring their opponent, they can choose to back off and reduce the Injury roll by 1, but they can also choose to hit hard and increase the Injury result by 1.
