Developer’s Notes
This Gimmick is inspired by all the chiseled superstars who took their vitamins, grabbed a surfboard, and bench-pressed 500 pounds… or giants.
When this Gimmick is in play, it adds 3 Crowd Points to the Event Pool during event setup.
The 1 Crowd Point ability allows you to increase your hand size by 2 cards for the current turn. Normally, you must discard down to 4 cards during the final phase of your turn, but every time you spend a Crowd Point to activate this ability, you can increase that maximum by 2 additional cards.
The 2 Crowd Point ability allows you to draw a Ring or Gear card, face down.
These abilities work well together. Drawing a Ring or Gear card, face down, allows you to maintain secrecy. If you draw several cards and find yourself with too many good cards, you can simply pay a Crowd Point to keep them in your hand beyond the Jobber Security phase.
Your hand size does reset back down to 4 at the start of the next event, and at the end of your next turn, you would need to discard down to 4 unless you activated the 1 Crowd Point ability again.
