Title Stripped

The Title Stripped card is designed exclusively for use with singles titles (TV, National, World). Its use is restricted to singles competition to avoid overly penalizing two players holding the Tag Team Championships.

Core Rules for Singles Titles

A player-champion who is not defending their singles title will lose it if:

• They draw Title Stripped during the Roll Call phase (applies regardless of the match type they are participating in, even if they “Enjoy the Show”).
• Any player drops Title Stripped on the champion outside of their wrestling match.

Limitations

Tag Team Matches: Title Stripped has no effect when played against any wrestler(s) in a tag team match. If played, the card is immediately discarded. The match does not end, and no titles are forced to change hands.

Thematic Context

This card was created to pay homage to iconic real-world events, such as the Montreal Screwjob or when Jack Tunney vacated the WWF World Championship (setting the stage for the WrestleMania IV tournament).

Commentator Discretion

While these guidelines cover most edge cases, the current Commentator ultimately holds the authority to make the final decision. They could even choose to vacate the title rather than place it on a random Superstar.
